Chelmsford High School Alumni Association
PATRICIA McSHEEHY FOURNIER
Awarding Criteria: Will be awarded to a deserving senior or alumnus who is enrolled in an undergraduate degree program pursuing a degree in Special Education
The Patricia McSheehy Fournier Memorial Scholarship was established, in her memory, by her sisters Dorene McSheehy Boyle (CHS ’65), and Deborah McSheehy Sommer (CHS ’67).
Patricia McSheehy Fournier was a member of the Chelmsford High School Class of 1970. She excelled in business courses and upon graduation was employed as an Administrative Assistant for Jean Fabrics in Lowell, MA.
Patricia was survived by her husband Richard Fournier (CHS ’68), whom she married ten short weeks before her death in 1972 from an automobile accident involving a drunk driver.
Her family, friends, and classmates best remember her as a caring and compassionate individual, who treasured her family and friendships.
This memorial for Patricia McSheehy Fournier is awarded with the hope that its recipient will pursue a teaching career in Special Education. Our sister Patricia had many dreams, and we hope whoever receives this award will follow their own dreams in Patricia’s memory.
