Chelmsford High School Alumni Association
PARISEAU FAMILY
SCHOLARSHIP
Established 2006
Awarding Criteria: Will be awarded to a graduating senior who is going to further his/her education and has demonstrated an outstanding work ethic and perseverance while a student at Chelmsford High School
The Pariseau family has lived in Chelmsford for three generations; two of those generations have attended Chelmsford Schools and graduated from Chelmsford High School.
This scholarship is given in loving memory of Robert G. and Gloria B. Pariseau, who lived in Chelmsford for almost fifty years and supported Chelmsford schools through volunteer work.
Robert J. Pariseau, son of Robert and Gloria, graduated from CHS in 1964 as a quarterback for the varsity football squad. After college, he returned to CHS to teach Industrial Arts and serve as an assistant football coach. He was inducted into the CHS Alumni Association Hall of Fame in 1996.
Elizabeth and Christine Pariseau were the latest attendees of CHS. Both were honors students; Elizabeth was heavily involved in music and theater, and Christine served as a captain of the color guard.
As a family, the Pariseau’s value work ethic and effort above all else— perseverance, tenacity and dedication to a task are the measure of its success, not the circumstances under which it is performed, or even, in some cases, its results.
The Pariseau Family Scholarship is to be awarded to a graduating senior who is going to further his/her education and has demonstrated an outstanding work ethic and perseverance while a student at Chelmsford High School.
