Chelmsford High School Alumni Association
CHELMSFORD HIGH SCHOOL
ALUMNI ASSOCIATION
GENERAL SCHOLARSHIP
Established 1992
Awarding Criteria: Will be awarded to deserving applicants who have graduated from Chelmsford High School and are continuing their education
The Endowment Fund of the Chelmsford High School Alumni Association was established as a vehicle for awarding scholarships to graduates of Chelmsford High School.
In 1991, with George A. Parkhurst serving as the first Chairman, the Endowment Fund began accepting donations from many sources, including individuals, corporations, organizations and foundations. All monies donated to the General Endowment Fund are preserved with only the income derived from the donations actually given as a General Scholarship.
Donations of $5,000.00 or more constitute a designated scholarship. These scholarships are designated with the name of the donor or a name chosen by the donor. The donor has the option of establishing the eligibility
criteria in accordance with the standards established by the Board of Directors of the Alumni Association or the donor allows the Board of Directors to establish the appropriate criteria.
