McGreevy Mike

Michael J. McGreevy

Class of 1975

Mike has been a successful entrepreneur for the last 25 years. He has successfully purchased and guided two failing companies into profitable, thriving organizations. Mike's guiding principle has been that if we do what is right for the customer first, do what is right for the company second, then the success will come. By assembling outstanding talent, utilizing keen business insights, and providing clear direction, Mike has been able to grow his businesses while sharing the rewards with his people.

Since graduating from CHS, Mike has always been able to find time to give back to his community. Mike worked two jobs to pay his way through the University of Lowell. During this time Mike committed to coaching freshman football at CHS one season. During his final year at the University of Lowell, he volunteered time to the Small Business Administration in order to benefit local businesses.

Upon moving to New Hampshire, Mike became involved in local youth sports. He has had a passion to give back to kids, as so many individuals gave of their time and talents in his own developmental years. He spent years coaching and managing for Portsmouth, NH Little League and was instrumental in leading teams to two State Championships. In addition, Mike joined the Board of Directors for Portsmouth City Soccer Club, a travel soccer association, and served as President of the club for two years.

Mike was a member of Portsmouth Rotary Club for six years and was involved in numerous fund-raising activities, both during and after his tenure with the club. Portsmouth Cross Roads House, a local homeless shelter, also benefited from Mike's volunteerism, as he was an intake person and night resource person there.

Lastly, while at Agility Manufacturing Inc., Mike reached out to the University of New Hampshire to establish an internship program for his company. To date, Agility Mfg. Inc. has provided four business students and one electrical engineering student with the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on work experience in a real world environment while earning much-needed funds for college. Agility Mfg. Inc. has hired two of these individuals as full-time employees upon graduation.
