Chelmsford, MA Chelmsford Housing Authority Executive Director Agency grew from 5 employees and operating budget of $750,000 to over 15 employees and operating budget of over $5.5 Million dollars serving 800 seniors, families & disabled individuals; Funding Awards & Programming: $750,000-Creation of a Family Self-Sufficiency Program assisting families to transition from welfare to work, $2,400,000-Serving families in need of housing assistance, $1,200,00 Serving disabled individuals & families in need of housing assistance, $500,000 Partnership with a private developer to create 16 new units of low income housing on Richardson Road, $5,700,000 Creation of 50 new units of elderly supportive housing in North Chelmsford, $5,200,00 For housing, adult day health center 7 new duplex for Chelmsford residents with developmental disabilities.
