Career
Raytheon Corporation while at WPI he was a co-op student designed and built a small radio transmitter and was credited with the first transatlantic communication using transistors using less power than a flashlight in 1956. Design Engineer 38 years developing Hawk, Sparrow and Polaris missiles. Field Engineer Cape Canaveral supporting land & submarine launches of Polaris missile. Developed guidance systems for Poseidon & Trident missiles as well as the Apollo Space Program. Draper Laboratories wrote procedures used by astronauts for communications with guidance system on board the Lunar Excursion Module. Awarded two patents and received several awards for technical contributions. Very active with the HAM radio community recipient of an award from the American Radio Relay League. Communications Officer for Acton Civil Defense
