United States Air Force Nubrucke, Germany Master Identification Officer (First enlisted person to qualify as a NATO Master Identification Officer; Homestead Air Force Base, FL On board the EC-121 patrolling the southern approaches to US & Bermuda Triangle (Reconnaissance); Cold Bay, Air Surveillance Supervisor/Instructor (Primary Trainer for personnel & supervisor of the radar site’s high frequency back-up communications station; Nubrucke, Germany Control & Warning Squadron (Staff Positions)-Helped coordinate air space management between NATO & German FAA (Wrote lesson plans for the European Tactical Air Control & Air Defense Systems); Cheyenne Mountain, CO NORAD Combat Operations Superintendent (Air Defense Operations)-Responsible for management & direction of five crews in support of the North American Air Defense Command’s Air Defense Mission. Scrambled and directed airborne warning & control system aircraft for tracking of Soviet aircraft along the approaches to North America; Bad Muender, Germany Air Control Squadron (Superintendent of Operations)-Managed $1.7 Million dollars in assets & 65 personnel in the deployment of mobile radar command & control operations sections; Ramstein Air Force Base, Germany Tactical Air Control Division (Manager)-U.S. Representative to NATO’s Synthetic Air Defense Exercise Committee, Assisted in development of Bosnia- Herzogovina Airspace Control Plan; Air Force Career Field Aerospace Command & Control Career Field (Manager)- Selected to be the first Air Force Career Field Manager for his Air Force specialty. Responsibilities include: ID & coordinate personnel qualification & training requirements for the US Air Force Mobile Air Traffic Control Systems, North American Aerospace Defense Command & U.S. Fighter Bomber Ranges
