Chelmsford, MA Public Schools Chelmsford High School (1923-1968) Teacher (English & Business Education), Vice-Principal-continued to teach and extra-curricular activities (Advisor to Student Savings Bank, Yearbook Advisor (35 years), Vice- Principal (Full Time at “New” High School on North Road), Retired after 44 years of service

Honors
High School library was named The C. Edith McCarthy Library with the understanding that when a new high school was built, the building on North Road would be named The C. Edith McCarthy Junior High School, was done in 1974;

1930: 
“Who has rendered her untiring and never-ceasing efforts to the welfare of the students of Chelmsford High School, the class dedicates this book”.

1956:
