U.S. Navy Aviation University of North Carolina (Flight Training), Played on base baseball team with Ted Williams, Johnny Pesky & Johnny Sain; South Pacific (B-25 Marine Pilot); National Guard Active Duty-Viet Nam flying Huey helicopters; Accumulated over 5000 hours of flight time over his National Guard career

Honolulu, HI Punahou School Teacher (History), Coach (Baseball & Basketball) Both teams won League Championships after 28 and 29 years respectfully, Dean; Retired after 39 years of service

Community
Played semi-pro baseball for 15 years. Pitched against major league teams on their way to post season play in Japan. Pitched against the Yankees, Dodgers, Giants & Cardinals which included: Mantle, Berra, Robinson, Campanella & Snider; Lost to the Dodgers in 10 innings (7-3), Lost to the Yankees (4-1) giving up 1 earned run, & Pitched a no-hitter; CHSAA (Charter Member)
