MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

Awarding Criteria: Will be awarded to a deserving senior who plans on entering the nursing profession.

The Frances Marie Cameron scholarship was established in her memory by her sister, K.C. Cameron.  The Cameron sisters were born in Chelmsford and attended Chelmsford Schools.  While both were attending the Westlands Elementary School in 1939, younger sister Frances became very ill and passed away.

K.C. established this scholarship in her memory for a Chelmsford High School graduate planning to become a nurse, because of Frances’ passion for learning and her desire to follow this career path.  The scholarship is given with the hope that it will aid the recipient in becoming a contributing member of the health care profession in the memory of Frances Marie Cameron.
